Exciting additions to the Healthy Futures Challenge are coming–we’re piloting a summer challenge at select sites in summer 2016! Click here for the Summer Coordinator Overview or continue reading for more information.
How It Works
The summer challenge will be run through select summer child care programs/summer camps across the state. Summer program staff will administer the challenge with the support of Healthy Futures staff.
The challenge runs June 1st through July 31st. It consists of four, 2-week challenges. A successful log is one in which the child records 60 minutes of activity on 10 of the 14 days of the challenge. Children completing successful logs will receive a small incentive, and those who complete three of the four 2-week challenges will be entered in a drawing for $300 to purchase sports equipment.
Check back soon for a list of sites where the summer challenge is being offered.
